Popcorn and Ideas Series
The Scripture of Nature
John Muir’s writings about his encounters with the wonders of the nature are filled with references to God and Biblical characters and events.  This program will trace the writings of early Christians, the life and work of John Muir to protect wilderness and parks, the work of others he influenced, and what the natural world reveals to us..  Presenter, Tom Gilbert has spent his career working for the National Park Service as the Superintendent of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, North Country National Scenic Trail, and Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail.  He retired in 2011.
